Have any transfer applicants gotten a decision yet?

@NickOGY can you send them midterm grades or letters from your professors about your grade? Waiting until you get your grades seems really late…

@ddotjon that is the same thing that happened to my account. It changes two-three days ago to that new message rather than the one with all of the FASFA codes. I sent my transcripts to them late January/early February so it makes no sense for it to have changed now.

Does anyone know if I don’t get in for Fall semester would it even be worth it to reapply in the Fall for Spring semester? I applied as a Computer Science major but I think if I don’t get in now I’ll reapply as a Math major (I was torn between the two anyway) because I hear Computer Science is much more selective. I really hope it doesn’t come to that, I really wanted to transfer and be at SBU for the Fall.

@gnov338‌ midterm grades are not accepted …need to wait until june

I didn’t get in. Guess I need to figure out if I want to reapply in the Fall or not… Good luck to everyone else!

I got accepted, I paid all of my dues, and filled out the form for student preferences. Sooo now what?

I was accepted a couple weeks ago, I paid all my deposits including housing a couple days later but I’m worried I won’t get housing for next Fall and wont be able to go… Anyone know the chances for transfers getting housing?

Is that possible? I haven’t paid my deposits yet but never considered that they wouldn’t have housing for me.

Most transfers do get housing , I don’t know anyone who didn’t get a dorm so I don’t think you have anything to worry about

Got my orientation date: June 19th. Wooooo…

@MSUFTWW I pad my deposits and filled out my new student preferences, where do I find my orientation date?

They send it to you in the mail.

Finally heard back! I had sent out my original transcript in January, however I only had 23 credits at the time so they asked for my second semester transcript. So after second semester I sent it immediately (with 55 credits). They received my transcript on May 20th and I heard back today! I got accepted!!! ^:)^ Good luck to all the other transfer student!

@HopefulSeawolf‌ , cong, i still waiting for decision…

Submitted application on May 16th. Got my acceptance letter on Friday June 6th. What are the chances of being able to enroll for Fall should I choose to? I realize there may not be any space, especially for Housing.
