Everytime I watch TV, play videogames, etc. I have this "bad feeling." I used to be a computer gamer addict but I've quit almost completely during the school year and really brought my grades/scores up. Now everytime I go back to play them I feel guilty because I know it is just a waste of time. I always think, "I have so many things that need to get done but I'm playing games for at least 3 hours a day." I cannot be satisfied with only 3 hrs of game play because it just isn't enough. Should I just quit completely and do other things like studying, exercising, volunteering, and everything that actually has an impact on college admissions and social life? I feel really good when I get good scores and grades and I love studying because I feel like I get significantly smarter afterwards (lol). I also think some subjects are really interesting and having the knowledge allows me to think about my surroundings and everything that I never knew before.

I think you already answered your question.

"Play hard, go pro." -CPL

lol

Nice quote^

Do what feels good.

Just keep playing games. You'll be fine. Just be sure to put on your college application all of the time and effort that went into getting up to level 37 in your videogame. The admission officers will be impressed. I mean, sure, you could spend your time on meaningless, insignificant things like grades, voulenteer work, a social life, and your own physical well being...or you could be truly passionate about videogames. That's what colleges want to see, "passion."

Okay, then I will be sure to add my lvl 200 characters from about 3-4 games.

If its an MMORPG, you need to quit, they're so goddamn useless. When I think of all the time I wasted farming gold for my epic or doing the 5 hour-long 40man raids with the pricks in my guild... But the occasional gaming isn't all that bad. Me and my friends have CS scrims a few nights a week for a couple hours, and it works out fine with everything else going on with my life.

haha it is MMORPG... I think I'm just going to play sports in place of it. It makes me feel "good" too. Yeah, thanks you guys.
