HEAD Start

HEy guys

Im trying to get a head start on my transfer essay and just wanted to know from some actual UNC students what they love about the school? and wat made u choose UNC. I would especially like to hear from transfer student?

PM Please
THANKSSSS!!!!

I mean if this is your transfer essay on why you want to go to school here, it might be a good idea to write it yourself. Just maybe.

lol...im not asking for my essay to be written for me...im trying to compile info and stats about UNC that i could incorporate into my essay...so just maybe if ur not gonna answer my specific request u shouldn't post nething at all....i see that u just joined so that may explain ur ignorance

For starters, might I recommend that hostility in the face of someone who volunteers genuine advice in response to a vague request will not carry you very far in winning over future professors, co-workers, and the world in general.

sd1001 (may have very well been lurking without posting for many, many months) simply suggested that it might be in your best interest to write such a personal essay without being influenced by the experiences of others. You asked why UNC students love their school and what made them choose the campus, and sd1001 is totally justified in encouraging you to look deep and write the essay for your heart.

If you wanted specific information -- school spirit, class size, graduation rate, marketability of degrees -- to help you make some decisions and to ensure that you are writing on a valid topic, you should have, well, been more specific.

haha. sarcasm yes. ignorance no.

but seriously don't compile info and stats. that's pointless. maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're asking. are you asking for pointers/direction on your essay or do you want to write about why others like the school in your essay? If you're going through all the trouble of transferring there has to be a reason you want to come here and thats what they want to hear. they already heard our spiel.

I am sorry to have offended you, almighty junior member.
