Just wondering if anyone has heard back about whether they were approved or not for the health insurance waiver. I helped my son fill out the form online on July 18th and he hasn’t heard anything back yet. I thought they were supposed to send an email that states that he completed the waiver form successfully and then a second email that states whether or not the request was approved.

Has anyone heard back from them? Just wondering if I should call or just give it more time.

Benreb - I called on this a couple of days ago and was told to have my son go into his Bucknell email and check out the spam folder. The health insurance waiver confirmation was in there - it probably got sent to spam because it is from GM-Southwest and not from Bucknell. Hope that helps!

It was in his spam folder. I haven’t seen his email account, so I never would have thought to tell him to look there.

Now the interesting thing is that he received an email on July 18th (the same day we submitted the form) that says that his request was denied because our deductible is higher than $500. Then, without us doing anything since I never saw that email - he received an email on August 1st that says his request is approved. So I’m going to go with that one :).

So glad I saw these posts! I had been waiting to hear back as well. S checked his spam folder and there was also a message about taking the Academic Responsibility Orientation. The link in his MyBucknell didn’t work, so he had to find it manually on Blackboard.

Surprising that an email from the Dean’s Office would wind up in his spam folder!! :(
