Hearing Back

Hi Everyone,
I am a student at a public high school of new york, and I am a little worried.
Basically, I've applied to Fordham University on Oct. 15, and I still haven't heard back. I know that it says they will send out decisions by Dec. 20 but I know many people at my high school that already got their letters and got accepted. Now, this is what gets me worried. Fordham isn't exactly my reach school. These are my stats:
ACT: 30 Composite,
35 Science
26 English
31 Math
28 Reading.
GPA : 3.79 Unweighted, 4.035 Weighted
5 AP classes, 7 honors classes.
I was not born in US, came to US 4 years ago from Eastern Europe.

Should I be worried about not yet hearing back? I don't understand how acceptance at fordham works, do they send out emails to every accepted student at once or do they send it out in batches? (Weekly, biweekly, etc.)
I am very worried because as I mentioned earlier, Fordham isn't exactly a reach school for me, and not hearing back yet kills my hopes of getting into any other colleges I've applied to.
Thank you for your time!

Update, On november 20th I did get an email that I haven’t submitted my CSS profile. Then, I submitted it Nov. 23rd, but again, numerous people got acceptance letters without sending it CSS.

The CSS is required for all applicants as far as I know. Not all applications are reviewed by the same committee members. So it may have delayed your letter/email. Just relax. You will know something by the 20th. And of course it depends on lots of factors…extra curriculars, recommendations, gpa, type of courses you took, and so forth.

I think your stats are going to be okay. No guarantees of course. Weird things do happen every year at every school in admissions cycle. But I would relax.

I know someone still waiting to hear back too.

i understand how you’re feeling right now because I found that my stats are in the top 15th percentile for the school, but I haven’t heard back either.
Hope you hear back soon…just over a week left. Plenty of time, I think.

@sovereigndebt‌ I’m confused and am hoping you can help me out. I am NOT applying for financial aid, so did not submit the CSS form. Since I am self-financing my education, I assume there is no requirement to fill the CSS out. Am I correct in that assumption? I applied EA to Fordham and my application has been complete since late October. Like others, today I received the email from admissions notifying me that the decision on my application will be posted no later than 12/19. In an earlier post, you mentioned that the CSS is required for all applicants. I don’t understand why that would be the case for those not seeking financial aid. Any input you can provide is appreciated.
