I have been looking into UF’s undergrad business program, and I can’t seem to find much information about it besides the website. I was just wondering how the experience for an undergrad at Heavener would be comparable to Fisher (OSU) or Carlton (Minn), UIUC’s business school or McCombs (Texas)? Just wondering because UF is one of my top choices, but I am not sure if the business school is particularly strong in any other aspect besides finance and accounting, which I am not looking to major in. I would like to maybe major in something related to business management or international business, and while I know that the Big 10 schools I am looking at/have been accepted too have strong programs, I love UF but would like to know more about the programs
bump
I don’t think you’ll find any UF undergrads that know anything about the experience at OSU, Minn or UT. Makes it hard to compare.
UF is also strong in Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Real Estate, as well as Finance and Accounting.
To give you an idea of which companies recruit at UF, the following link list companies that participated in last fall’s Career Showcase fair. You can sort the list for companies looking for Business Management grads (use Hiring Codes, #8). It’s at least 98 companies…From Amazon to United Technologies/Pratt & Whitney.

Note that the business college also has it’s own job fairs…
UF also publishes the results of the Graduation Survey. This will give you sense of starting salary ranges, work locations, etc. Lots of info:

Good Luck!
That is some excellent info! My DS is applying to some of the leading Business Schools and UF will be hard to top if he is accepted.
