<p>D has decided to attend UM and as such must decide between Stanford or Hecht Residential Halls. So, which is
better? She has decided to choose a "substance free" room (floor?). Stanford has the reputation of being quieter, Hecht is supposedly the wilder side. Stanford is closer to the dining hall, but Hecht has a nicer lobby and elevators, supposedly. Any insight as to which you prefer is appreciated. </p>
<p>Son is in Hecht. He doesn’t feel any differences are significant.</p>
<p>No real difference, each building is the best…if you live in that building. Stanford does have music practice rooms in ground floor if you daughter plays piano or other instrument.</p>
