What happens if you get a 580 in math II?

i was sick on the actual day and i can obviously do so much better. but i am scared that dartmouth might hold this against me even if i retake it and score like 750+.

i am retaking math I btw in november for ed. also should a 650 in physics be retaken? i am only applying for a english major.

thx guys...the rest of my app is in order btw. 2230 for SAT I and 39 points for IB. I also got a recc. from a dartmouth prof on my research.

lol you’re screwed if you hand in a 580 in math 2c -_-
Just take it again. Better than keeping it.
Improve physics too. 650 is pretty good, but I think you should attempt it again, and raise your chances with dartmouth.

Remember that 1 wrong in Math 1C is a 780.
But good luck!

Math Ic is lower level math ,tested in a harder way

Im fine with Math IC. But do i need to write in any note explaining that I was sick etc? Or would my 700+ in Math IC (plus my 750 Math in the actual SAT and 6points for IB Math SL) speak for itself?

@calcutta

Excuses aren’t a defense. Seriously dude. You’re going to college.
You gotta suck it up. “I was sick” isn’t gonna be a valid excuse dude.
Writing that note would do you more harm than good.

Ok, let’s say you not being sick actually helps you do better in 2c.
You even said so yourself. You wouldve done better if you hadn’t been sick.
Then why you would you take 1c? 1C looks like crap, unless you get an 800.

Just retake the 2c again.
