I'm a senior in high school looking to join my school's FBLA chapter because I think it would be fun and I finally have the time! However, I'm not familiar with any FBLA stuff and registration for the regional competition are this week... so I need to decide which competitions to do based on my strengths and the easiest ones to pick up (and fastest!).

I'm very good at math and I am a good speaker/presenter! At this point I was thinking of Business Calculations, Business Ethics, and maybe Job Interview?

Depending on your region, business calc could be very easy to qualify for state. However, competition is quite tough at State especially for Business Calc and Business Communications, since a lot of people do those events.
You could try Public Speaking II. You get time to prepare a speech. Emerging Business issues is also a speaking event where you can prepare your speech beforehand.
I have heard from people in my chapter that Job Interview requires a submitted resume several days before the conference. My friend signed up for Job Interview weeks ago and forgot to turn in his resume on time, so now he can’t compete at Regionals. But then again, your region could be different. I’m from the Capital region :)
