Ok, I've been taking all these practice tests for the ACT, doing ok, but not what I would have expected...I am really worried b/c tomorrow is the test and I need to do well on it b/c it's all my dad will pay for. I don't feel prepared, and I'm caught up in what to do! lol

anybody? pls i'm dying here

there's not really much ya can do at this point except keep doing practice problems and when you miss them, make sure you read the answer explanation and DO IT AGAIN. It's absolutely pointless if you just read the answer and don't do it again because you'll usually forget it the next time you do the same type of problem.

Some books will tell you to take a break the day before the test and not do any practice. I disagree. I studied up to the minutes before the test on the SAT and scored 150 points better than before. I'd say that the more times you've seen a type of problem and the more recently you've taken them the better you'll do on the test.

Don't stress so much - they start offering ACTs again in October I think and you can send whichever scores you want to colleges.

scratch that 150 points...i always think in terms of 1600..
i went from 1350 on old SAT to 2220 on new SAT which is about 1490-1500. So studying up till the test helped me alot because I had just got through doing those problems 10 minutes ago.

Pul, out our ACT book and go back through the entire thing and only do the problems you missed. Once you have done that, It if itsnt late then do a bunch of other ones in your weakest subjet
Most importantly go to sleep by 10 and drink orange juice with your brekafast, It is all proven to be helpful.
I say don't try and get up early to study. It will freak oyu ot. Maybe take out your book and glance over hte problems to get your brain working since it is really early in the morning.
Good luck!
