I had hopes for Top schools but...
I have a C
My question is do I have a chance if I get straight A's junior and senior year

Here are my grades so far, all classes are honors

middle school-
Algebra 1 , Spanish 1-B
Geometry -A

freshman yr-
Orchestra, PE, Algebra 2, Film Study, World History, Spanish 2- A
English, Biology-B+

-grade change here to have pluses and minuses on a 10-point scale from a 6 point scale-

sophomore yr (I can guess pretty accurately)-
IB math 1(precalculus), Comparative Gov., Orchestra, PE, Chemistry, Spanish-A's
Physics- B,B+, or A- not sure
English- C+, B-, or B again not sure.

going with the worst case scenario at the end of sophomore my GPA will be 3.7

I am not going to try to justify my grades they are all caused by me being lazy. At the end of junior year if I get straight A's my GPA will be 3.796 maybe rounds up to 3.8. Is this GPA within range to make it to top schools, and how will my excessive B's, and my C+ go over. I am getting the IB diploma and I'm not sure how much it helps but I'm black.

What would be a safety/match for me and could I make it to Harvard and the like?

Thanks
