<p>A weeks ago I found out I have enough units to transfer. I have a spring and winter semester to figure out and complete my major requirnment. </p>

<p>I have most of my IGETC done.
3.8 GPA
2 jobs
Student Government.
Scholars Program.</p>

<p>My question is. What are some majors that have little major pre reqs.</p>

<p>I know History is one.</p>

<p>Would it be possible to do Poli Sci?</p>

<p>Tomorrow morning is my enrollment date for both winter and spring. Due to budget cuts , classes are limited so I need to know my plan by then</p>

<p>Could anyone help me out?</p>

<p>If you plan on transferring in Fall 2010 you need to choose a major by 11/30… and write an essay about it.</p>

<p>why didn’t you decide on one before your last full semester?</p>

<p>Lets say that I do the Poli Sci series for UCLA and I don’t get in.
Can I put down history as my second major choice even though I haven’t completed any pre reqs for it?</p>

<p>From my undrstanding UCLA doesn’t really consider your second choice major unless you are a TAP student</p>

<p>that’s not a good idea. some speculate that they only look at alternative majors for students in TAP.</p>

<p>Philosophy has little prereqs. English has a couple. Find one where the prereq isn’t offered at your CC.</p>

FYI
You can choose a second major that doesn’t have the pre reqs at your school and is not impacted as your back up.</p>

<p>Also, you don’t need all of your prereqs completed. You’ll be considered regardless. </p>

You can choose a second major, but unless you’re in TAP, it means nothing.</p>

Yes you will be “considered” because you paid them $60 to “consider” you. It’s foolish to not try and complete all your major pre-reqs</p>
