I recently got CAPed at UT Austin ,as well as being denied from AM. I got accepted to University of Houston as a engineering major, with a small scholarhsip($3000 per year), and as a Houstonian is it worth it staying in Houston for UH or going to the Cap program at a UT satellite as a engineering major, or stay in the Cap and apply for am as a transfer engineering major?

I’d say Cap then UT since it’s guaranteed but no one can prevent you from applying to TAMU as a transfer too.

Just remember that the CAP program only guarantees admission to certain programs (Business and Engineering not included). I know some UH grads who have done incredibly well (especially in Chem E).
