<p>I have an 88 average at a highly competitive NYC specialized high school and in two sittings I scored a 2150 and a 2200 on the SATs (including an 800 on the verbal section). Scant ECs but currently working at a hospital library. Do you think I could get into Binghamton? Their 3.6 GPA is disgustingly out of my reach but I think its somewhat mitigated by my high SAT scores.</p>

<p>Your SATS are really good. They would be crazy not to take you. Since your school is special, and highly competititve, it should help, but I don't know what rules they go by. Good luck. Send in the best application that you can- recommendations, essays, general quality. Also apply as early as you can, too. I think that you should get in. It's a good school.</p>
