Is it true , that you can only apply to HAAS once?

no

10char

Cupertinotransfer,

I did not say 92% of TAP students are admitted to Haas; I said 92% of TAP students are admitted to Berkeley. Please read carefully before posting.

@Koachk,

You do not have to be low income to get into TAP; I would know since I was part of it. First, contact a Berkeley TAP counselor via e-mail and arrange for a meeting with him/her. Chances are you’re in after the first meeting, even though they ask you to fill out a form with your family’s income, etc.

And yes, I, too, got into Haas, but chose Brown instead.

@koachk, what is your stat?

is 3.88 a good gpa if I am applying to UCB Haas, please let me know

ya 3.7 up is alright

Your first piece of advice. Go to pictureyourself.berkeley.edu, get in contact with these counselors, go to the seminars they hold. HAAS is VERY specific, so make sure you talk to actual berkeley officials.

College Confidential is a bunch of students, none of us are officials so contrary to popular belief, we are not usually correct in our statements.

Don’t shoot for whats "okay’ gpa wise. Work your ass of and get as high of a gpa as you can.

It is not if your GPA is high enough, but if you have completed the required courses to be considered an eligible candidate.

Out of the 1542 transfer applicants for fall 2010, 1166 were considered ineligible. Of the 376 eligible applicants, 105 (28%) were offered admission.

28% is a pretty high number compared to the transfer percentages at other schools.

are those courses and pre-reqs required to be completed by the spring before transfer or before you applY??

@AngryStudent13
If you are taking a prerequisite(s) in the spring make sure you show planned completion of the course(s).
