Help - I Hate Science

I'll be a Junior next year. I advanced in science at my school so I had all my needed science classes to graduate completed after this year. They were Earth Science, Biology, and Chemistry. I really dont like science, or cough math cough, and sceince has nothing to do with my intended major which will be using something with my languages: French and Spanish, history, politics, or something with international relations.

Would it be an awful thing if some top colleges, Dartmouth, Georgetown, etc. saw that I didnt further my science courses? The ONLY science class I will take after this point would be AP Bio, and I really dont want to! :(

My question, coming from other high school students, what do you think? Do you think it would be acceptable for me to NOT take AP Bio, and instead take a weighted business course or something that may be useful with what I want to do?

If you don’t like science, I recommend you to not take AP Bio, but how about physics? The only disadvantage of physics(unlike Bio, Chem, and Earth Science) is that it won’t be related to any of your majors.

i’m in the same predicament! I’m currently taking spanish and french and my intended majors are very similar to yours(if not the same). i’ve taken earth space, bio, and chem. and i hate science w/ a passion. but, i’m taking ap bio bc that was science class i could understand and made sense. (plus 4 years in every core subject looks good)
i say follow your passions but, be mindful of the recomended units for each college your interested in.

I’m not bad at science, I have always gotten A’s in the class. I just… dont like them? And Im tired with them.

^^^^Same here. I’ve always made As. But I have never enjoyed the class.

I thought you need calculus for physics :O

^Only for physics C.

Ah, how can you guys hate science. Seriously though, physics was like the best class ever for me. sigh

@OP: I don’t think you need to take AP Bio if you’re going to be taking other AP classes, since you already took bio before. Alright, maybe I’m biased, but you should take physics. Especially since you’ll probably have to take some form of a physics to graduate at the colleges you’ve listed.
