20 minutes was just not enough time for me to write a 5 paragraph essay! I had a very well thought out intro paragraph that stated my thesis, but I only got to a sentence or two into my second paragraph and my essay ended half way through a sentence. I am a very good writer, but this is insanity! What is going to happen to me/my score??? Does this ever happen to anyone?

SAT essays are very different from real 5 paragraph essays. Intro should be 2-3 sentences and a 1 sentence conclusion should suffice. It’s also MUCH easier to write 2 body paragraphs instead of 3

You are going to get a pretty low grade for your essay. You only have 20 minutes for this essay. You are not supposed to write a well thought-out, developed introduction. This is not an AP essay. As Siddysidsid said, your intro should be about 2-3 sentences, simply stating your position and reasons, and then 2 paragraphs explaining those reasons, and a short conclusion restating your position and tying your essay together.
