Hi, everyone! I am debating if I should transfer to SMU or FIU. Right now, I major in International Studies in a concentration of Business and Economics and a minor in Spanish at UNT. It's my first year and I applied at SMU but I was rejected because I was too dumb, lol. =P My gpa in high school was a 3.1 and THEY wouldn't accept a sister. Smh! I just found out about FIU (Florida International University) and they have Internation Business and Spanish(the two things I want to concentrate on yet UNT calls it "International Studies blah blah blah") ;) but I don't know if it will be a good idea for me to pay an arm and a leg for both SMU and FIU. Also, I don't have family in Florida(and the closes ones to me are in the ATL). From what I've read about SMU, I was shock to find that it was a very nice school with friendly people and some have great connections in intership. As most people think, it's made for snobby rich kids who depend on mommy and daddy for EVERYTHING whereas most people (like me) work our butts off to make it on our own.

With that being said, can you please post what you think I should do?

Thanks!
