well I got a call back from a lady from undergrad admissions, and she told me that the likelihood of getting my acceptance back was as low as 1%. Now idk where she pulled that percentage from, but I think she was basically trying to discourage me from appealing. But that doesn’t make me feel any better. :X

You are probably right about her trying to discourage you. But how will you know for sure unless you try? It all depends on how bad you want to attend UCLA.

OH wow I hope this works. :D

if you dont mind me asking, hope what works star?

Where there is a will, there is a way. And I major in political science. ;)

Let us know how your appeals go,90star09 and nothingatall.

would changing your major help at all?

and i’m still waiting…

if you applied for a major within the college of letters and science, switching won’t help; all majors within the college of L&S are weighed equally. switching to another school (e.g. engineering) will be tougher due to higher standards.

have you told your parents?

I’m reinstated! BOMBARD the admissions office Good luck to everyone else who has to/is going through this :D

OMG! That’s AWESOME, 90star90! I’m REALLY REALLY happy for you!! Hahah! and for some reason, I’m almost as happy as I was when I got into UCLA myself! Haha! Congrats all over again! Haha!
