Hi,
I just wanted to know what are the minimum CBSE(12th Grade) Board marks required for admission into
1.University of Toronto
2.McGill University
3.University of Waterloo
4. York University
5.Queen's
Please inform me and aware me regarding this. I am really looking forward to apply here and go if accepted.

Hey ,
They dOnt have anything like minimum board marks…all they want is a good all round student

hey i am damn sure that if you want to study in Canada then you should mainly concentrate on your 12th grade marks and just for reference they will just have a look at your 11th grade marks too.
And in which field are you willing to do major??I know the cut-off’s of engineering programs so i am listing it below:
For waterloo and Uoft you need to get minimum 85% to get accepted in these Universities and i am not so sure about Queen’s and york but yeah it’s easy to get in york comparatively.
And Mcgill is the toughest one to get in as their cut-off’s for engineering programs is around 90%.
Just saying that one of my friend got accepted in Waterloo with just 75% for doing majoring in physics.
And that the main thing matters here in Canada is just % and not much EC’s unlike US.
So what i am saying in short is just try to focus on your 12th grade marks. But if you want to study in UBC then there EC’s matter a lot…

My 11th was extremely bad as I was unwell most of the year. Was going through a lot of medical problems :/

Hey there is no need to worry but you can pm me if you want by the way i am having some medical problem so i guess we are on thew same boat…

My results are about to come. I’m really nervous. Though, I didn’t apply this year and I will next year. I plan on doing conputer engineering/computer science

The universities you have selected are some of the most competitive ones in canada :). According to their ontario curriculum requirements, you need to get an 85% to be considered as a potential applicant in many of the unis like UBS, UOFT etc. But this only applies to those students following Ontario curriculum in canada. Considering that CBSE is on a higher level compared to the Ontario curriculum, you may need to get aprox 80% to be considered as an applicant , though you will be facing stiff competition from the other pool of applicants, so it wouldn’t hurt to get a good percentage (around 85%+) in order to boost your chances of admission. Also you have to have really good marks in your 10th grade and 11th grade examinations, as Canadian unis tend to focus on all round academic performance. Good luck :)

I got best of 4 86% and 84% overall. :/

Apply To York And Sfu… Maybe carleton

It is very hard to get into u of t, mcgill and waterloo…

The deadline for most of them is over …
Only good unis left in canada are :

York
Carleton
Sfu
Queens (maybe)

Waterloo will be hard? :/

McGill, Queens and University of Waterloo are known for their tough, competitive courses and selective admission rate
