I have been admitted as an internal transfer to NYU's Gallatin school......I am afraid its not a real school and will be expensive and limit my chances for success. Are my fears unfounded?

As you know if you're an internal transfer....NYU has some crazy ways of organizing its schools and colleges. Steinhardt comes to mind. Anyway, based on THAT, I would be hesitant to write off something as non-legit just because it's organized unconventionally. I hope someone can give you some good advice. Some "make your own major" programs can lack rigor, but that's not universally true.
