Help me buy a TV

So I'm looking to buy a TV for my dorm room mainly so I can play video games. Im looking at small flat panel HDTV ready sets so I can get the most use out of today's video games, many of which are now HD.

I've been looking at some 17" ones but i don't really know how to judge them. Mainly i hear i should be looking for a high resolution one, which i guess isn't that hard to find. But then most guides say a TV with DVI is the way to go in the future. Is this correct? I'm having a hard time finding 17 inchers with DVI jacks.

Any other pointers would also be appreciated.

Thanks

try a store that specializes in TVs

also... some HD tvs give crappy pictures if you are like, laying on the floor in front of them instead of at eye level, so make sure you check that before you buy.

The smallest HDTV i have seen is 26 inches.

hmm...I was thinking of getting a tv tuner on my computer instead of bringing a tv to college...I dont know much about them though, so idk if you can play video games on them.
