Help me decide! (really quick question)

I'm applying to Letters & Sciences.

UC Weighted GPA: 4.04
SAT Reasoning: 2050 (660CR, 730M, 660W) - first sitting
SAT Subject: 790 (USH) & 770 (Math 2) - first sitting

I am 90% sure I can improve my reasoning score to 2150. Should I do that or should I retake the subject tests and get 800 on both?

Improve your reasoning, your SAT IIs are good enough.

Take the reasoning test, because there is more you can improve there than in your subject tests. You can possibly do better on the two English categories, while you can only go up very little for your subject tests.

imporve your extracurriculars

I would definitely take the SAT reasoning again

you make it sound getting 800 in subject tests is guarentee, i woudln't risk it if i were you and improve that reasoning. Also get straight As senior year, your UC GPA isn't too high.

Freshman and Sophomore year I didn't care about school. Junior year, I took 5 AP's and got an A in all of them. I'm counting on that upward trend and my unique EC's to get me in.

Regardless, thanks for the input.

750+ is a great range.
so retake SAT I's.
And if you happen not to improve, you won't even have to sendem! :D

in reality your SAT Reasoning score is good enough, though you want at least 680 on writing so that you can waive the AWPE.
