Help me find a great beach school!

Hi, im a high school junior. A brief summary of my stats:

3.7 gpa
1900 SAT
30 ACT
Lacrosse/Football player
Member of a few clubs
have a few jobs
volunteer at local hospital

-as you can see, not many too many activities. but my stats are fine
-Im looking for a school in the south east/ mid-atlantic, preferably next to a large beach.
-School size isn't too big of a deal, just no extremes (less than 3,000 or more than 40,000)
-Im interested in a school with a strong pre health program, business, or economics. Im pretty much undecided though.
-Liberal arts or not is not really a big deal

Not sure but maybe Miami, UNC Wilmington, College of Charleston (SC) and Eckerd (FL/smaller though). Best of luck!

University of Southern Miami! So legit.

Ck out Florida Atlantic Univ, a few miles from the beach in Boca Raton.

yeah i would love to go to Miami, just need to bring sat scores up a but im re-taking in fall and studying and what not. Thanks for the input on the other schools.

any others?

University of south florida. You’d prob get a scholarship and get into the honors college

i agree with university of miami! i’m going there hahah
i don’t know if you’ve been there, but it’s right by a super cute area with like bars, restaurants and shops!
also, they superscore if you’re concerned about SAT/ACT

What can your family afford?

It’s in the northeast, but Endicott College (MA) might be worth a look! The campus is beautiful with 3 private beaches, and around a half hour from Boston.

Have you and your family calcuated your EFC ?
The Expected Family Contribution.

Going to second recommendations for UNC-Wilmington and College of Charleston.

yeah UNC Wilmington is right up your alley. and you would be in honors there. i’m visiting there soon and i really like that it’s near wrightsville beach! very nice beach by the way, been there 3 times.
