Help! My school messed up my classes for my senior year...

So, I just found out that my school is stupid (okay, I found that out long ago but...), and my schedule doesn't work.

I have my third year of leadership/student government during 6th period (because my teacher moved it from 3rd to 6th for her own convenience and messed things up for like, half the class). Psychology is only during 5th and 6th period. So, 6th is out since I'm in an elected, executive position and all. That leaves 5th period, but there's no other period where I can take chemistry either apparently. Something else severely getting in the way is that I have AP lit. 3rd period, and there's only one class for that.

So basically, they're going to make me change my schedule and I don't know what to do... Here's a breakdown of my credits in only my four main academic areas at my school, counting those I'll be doing next year:

Math: 4
English: 4
Social studies: 4
Science: 3

No matter what, I'll have enough to graduate, but maybe not for college. If I take leadership, I apparently can't take psychology, so I'd only have 3 social studies credits. Not to mention, psychology interests me a lot (and I dread taking chemistry like no other). If I take psychology, I may not be able to take chemistry from the looks of it, and having 2 science credits probably wouldn't get me into any college I want to go to, even though I'm not going to be doing any majors that involve science. There are no other science classes I could take, besides physics... I'd way rather do chemistry.

If I stick with 3 S.S. credits, I'd end up taking some class that would just be an elective, which isn't going to help me much, which is the issue that rises. My only other option would be to take a science class at the community college for running start after school during the latter part of the year, but I can't see that helping either seeing as applications would already have been turned in and such.

Bump…er cars.

It isn’t clear what your question is. Also, what do you think people reading your post could do to help?

Be a man. 10 char

Maybe you can take classes online…like Psychology or chemistry?

Bluseash: I just need a solution. Do I take psychology and not chemistry, leaving me with 2 science credits, and hope I find a college that doesn’t require chemistry? Do I skip out on psychology even though I really want to take it? Do I take a science class at the community college in the latter part of the school year, even though admissions will already be done…? I just don’t know.

109111: I’m a girl, so…

Douglasgirl2018: I wish. My school won’t let me. They told me that online classes are for credit recovery only, and they won’t allow me to take them to get ahead.
