S2 has decided that he will most likely accept the offer he has from Dominican U. of Calif.
Finding information about such a small school is really tough and I don't know anyone who attends there. He did visit for about 24 hours and it was all about soccer and he didn't spend any time in a class or talk to anyone outside the soccer program. He loves the coach and the team but we feel like he has no clue about the rest of the aspects of the school.
Anyone have any valuable insights?

There are a few reviews on studentreviewsdotcom…

One of my daughter’s friends (San Diego County) was accepted and they are offering her a nice merit scholarship so she is considering them.

I know that site and I would delete that from your post or the thread will be deleted since it violates the terms and conditions. I didn’t realize until last week when I posted asking what good review sites are.
That one is not the best one and seems to attract the students that are angry and looking to vent. If they have a larger sample size of reviews it doesn’t seem to be as skewed.
DU has been making some changes as far as a 4 year grad. guarantee and a MBA in 5. They also now are D2 for athletics which will attract more kids too. Their retention rate has gone up more than 10% over the past two years as well.
My feeling is my S2 will go there regardless of what the data or reviews show. He wants to play D2 soccer and it is an hour flight and we have family near by as well which will be nice in case we need support for any reason.
