On the April 08 ACT I got:
ENGLISH 35
MATHEMATICS 31
READING 32
SCIENCE 32
COMPOSITE 32.5 = 33

I need a 33.5 (34).

Normally, I get 34's on reading, so that gives me 2 more points. I need 2 more after that to get the 33.5. I haven't prepped all summer, and am taking it on September 13th. I need help!! The colleges I am applying to accept students with around 34's, so I want to be in the ballpark. Any help or advice on how to improve and get 2 more points would be appreciated.

All there is to math is getting the last 10 or so right, so I guess look over advanced trig, logs, and some algebra II stuff(easy stuff but the hard part is remembering it). I got 32 M in June btw.

ok, that's good, so you should be fine in terms of materials covered for the ACT math.. what are you missing? some of the older algebra II/geometry stuff? or is it some pre-cal stuff that you may not have fully grasped in your pre-cal class?

I didn't get your sub scores exactly but it's similar. All I can do really is take some of these questions that I can't figure out to my math teachers. Try sparknotes math, but quite honestly I think the hardest stuff to study is the trig, especially the really advanced stuff like cos and sine(this isn't complicated, but when you find them in questions 50-60, they're put in weird ways).

I saw most of my errors when I went over the test. It's not that I can't do the math, im making stupid mistakes. I got the onlince ACT prep so I can practice on more real problems, lets hope that helps. 1 week left!

yeah, it seems like geometry is shaking you up a bit.. i'd just do a lot of practice and study what you got wrong and WHY you got it wrong (and why the right answers are right)
