help needed!!! My ib score!!

hEllo,

I'm an international student and so don't have a gpa. I've already got my
Ib score, as I'm on my gap year - I got 34. What sort of schools should I be aiming for with a score like that? With a 2200+ on my sats are the lesser ivy leagues possible? What about nyu, berkely or ucla?

Thanks!

Seriously… no one can give me advice?

Well, I’m not an international parent, but I know the Univ of California system gives 30 units of credit to IB scores above 30, but I don’t know how it impacts admissions.

***?!? There are parents on this forum? How pushy do you have to be to sign up to this?

(No offence Mom)

I don’t know, I heard that you should ideally to get predicted a 40 to get into harvard yale princeton… I got predicted a 38 and am applying to Columbia Early Decision, do you think that is good enough?

As for you, I would say 34 is pretty low for the Ivies, but one must consider the fact that actual scores are entirely more material than predicted and thus might be valued more.

What is the relevance of the Ivies to college?
