Help! Nursing Undergrad programs + Hospitals + Nursing Program Recommendations

If I plan on studying nursing in college, should I consider the hospitals that they are affiliated with? My mom wants me to go to UIC because they have good hospitals but UIC is at the absolute bottom of my list ( i really did not like it when I visited ).

Also, any recommendations for nursing programs in the IL, WI, and IN area?

Stats: 24 ACT (as of right now), GPA: 3.86 (weighted), IB Chem/IB Psychologhy

One school that you might not have heard of is Viterbo, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. http://www.viterbo.edu/school-nursing/about-school-nursing

You should care first about the NCLEX pass rate when choosing between colleges. And the colleges you should choose along are those that have direct admit nursing programs

Be aware that direct admit nursing programs usually have higher GPA and SAT/ACT scores than what their profile states. @mikemac is correct in looking at the NCLEX pass rates for each college that you are looking at.
