Help on Common App Letters of Reccomendation

<p>Okay so today, I asked my teacher if he can write me a letter of reccomendation and he said yes.
I asked him if he wanted a copy of my resume and he said hesitantly no and that he just wants to write about me based on how well he knows me and how I did in his class.
thing is though, I really do want him to actually read my resume. Do you think I should just give him a copy of it? </p>

<p>Anyways, he told me that he uses the commonapp so I registered him onto my school forms list. </p>

<p>My question is, do i need to give him 8 envelopes; stamped and 8 teacher evaluations for the 8 colleges that i am applying to?
Or is everything just going to be online?
I thought that he's gonna do everything online? Why do I need the envelopes?</p>

<p>If he wants to do everything online, then you don’t need envelopes. Some teachers like to mail the letters out themselves, instead of doing it online, so you would need envelopes for those teachers. Hope I helped!</p>
