HELP -- poor grades 1st semester junior year

So they always say junior year is the most important. And so it is, since I'm taking 5 aps and 1 honors class and 1 unweighted class. HOWEVER, I am legitly failing AB Calc since my crazy **** teacher hates on non seniors. What would happen if I took this AP course online?
Also I might do this for physics ap c, although I am actually doing OK.

Thanks.

I don’t think it matters whether you take a course online or not. As long as you do your work and get the job done, you’re fine.

I’m sure you will be fine. If “failing” for you is like a B or a C, you still have plenty of time to bring it up, and colleges only look at your final grades anyway. I’m a junior too and I know how you feel. Just tough it out and I’m sure you’ll be fine. I don’t think taking the class online will be necessary.

No, I actually have an F. An F---- (forever). It is really depressing. My school does these things called “lanes” and bc calc is the highest lane. Last year, I was on course to go to bc calc which makes this even sadder. I’m in a lower lane but am flunking everything. It’s not like I don’t study either - I do.

And what’s more is that if I don’t show work EXACTLY the way the teacher does, she takes off points. Even if I get the right answer. And it’s not just me. A lot of other classmates consistently say this.

My semester ends December 21. And the last two weeks are designated for review/finals. I only have about 5 weeks left to raise my grade. Based on previous years, I do not do well on finals, even (or especially) when I know the subject well. In these 5 weeks, I’ll probably have 3 tiny quizzes and 2 tests - it is extremely implausible. I’m not trying to complain here, but I’m trying to be realistic about this.

So you’re saying you have no way to reside your grade yetyou have 2 tests and 3 quizzes coming up? Really?

In Calc BC we only have two upcoming tests. TWO. A test is 90% of my grade and the 10% in homework. I would love to have five chances to raise my grade. Open your eyes man.

ok yes, there are chances to raise my grade, but i had so many other things I bombed because I’ve gotten points taken off extra (I compared with others - seniors - who got the correct answer and mine was the same). So I’m not expecting much, is all.
