HELP!! UC ADMISSIONS-Report Change

Does anyone know if you report changes on your UC application, will it effect your chances of getting accepted?

Let's say I messed up for my Spring course/grades section. I put no courses to report because my registration date for my community college wasn't until after the application deadline, but I indicated that on the comment box. I didn't know I was just supposed to put the classes as planned since I didn't register for my classes yet.

So I called the UCLA admissions office twice and they said I could just wait for the January update form, but when they replied to me through email they said I should report the change right away.

By reporting a change, will it effect my chances of getting accepted???

Thanks for your help!

Senior schedule is a key item for UC admissions. Definitely write to each campus and update them with your confirmed schedule.

I am a transfer student, there’s an update that we have to do in January

Im pretty sure you will be fine. They said to update in January so as long as you do that it will be okay. They dont finalize anything until after the January updates anyway so when you update they will make the final decision. And plus, you already said in the comments that you havent registered yet so its okay. UC’s dont like it if you change the application unless it is necessary. I dont think its necessary because they give you a chance to change it in less than a month anyway.
