Help! What should I do next ?

Hello guys please I'm looking for advice.Backstory, after my high school graduation, I took two years off and work to get enough money to pay for college ( my mom is in another country) and I went back to school last year . I took loads of courses to graduate from the community college within a year. Well, now I've been trying to set up an appt with the transfer advisor for a month and only could catch her today . She just told the schools I wanted to apply to ( u of Chicago, UIC , UIUC and Northwestern ) had their spring deadline for October 15th. Now it's either I apply to other schools or I just wait. Frankly I don't like the latter because I already waited 2 years but at the same time I don't want to go into a school I don't like.I don't know what to do and I would really appreciate your input. Thank you very much .

I think it is worth the wait.

Go to each college website and read all the information for transfer applicants so that you are familiar with everything they have to say to you and the deadlines.

Thanks Brown Parent for your help. I feel bad about missing the date, I should have been more careful and pay more attention and stay focused. But It happened and there’s nothing I can do except wait or chose another school. I decided to apply to Loyola and Northeastern and Depaul, and even schools like CSU and ISU. I just hope my undergraduate school won’t matter as much since I plan to go to graduate school and get a PhD in Economics. Thanks again for your input.
