Help with admissions for a high school senior

I have a 2.45 cumulative GPA for freshman, sophomore, and junior year and I am applying to West Virginia University for Athletic Coaching Education. And well the minimum requirements for out of state is 2.5 cumulative and as of right now senior year I have a 3.8. If I apply right now would my transcript say I have a 2.45 or a 2.5 or will it include my senior year as of now.
Or should I wait until after first semester to apply?? Thanks

Apply now: GPA 2.45: automatic rejection
Apply later, add in 1 semester 3.8, culm GPA = 2.64: possible admit

What do you think? Keep up the 3.8. Best of luck to you.

So apply right now then apply in January?

I think they meant apply in January. If West Virginia has early decision thats binding you could apply now, probably get deferred, and then reconsidered after you send in your first semester grades and I think applying early when it is binding shows your desire to go there but it may be better if they never associate you with a 2.45 and associate you with the 2.6 right off the bat

I should have been clearer:

Apply now: GPA 2.45: automatic rejection

OR

Apply later, add in 1 semester 3.8, culm GPA = 2.64: possible admit.

Wait until January to apply (as T26E4 recommends).

In addition, make sure that the transcript your GC sends includes your Fall semester grades. Have a meeting with him to ensure that he understands that you will be rejected if your transcript includes only through Junior year.
