Help With Air Force ROTC Scholarship!

Hi, I'm a rising senior interested in attending Notre Dame or Duke U. Though my family is capable of paying for both of these schools, my parents have told me they will only provide 10K - 15K per year, which leaves me about 35K short (and I won't receive great financial aid with a family income of ~100K - 110K). So I NEED this scholarship! Two of my older sisters attended school (ND and USAFA) on an AFROTC scholarship so I do know what I'm getting myself into:]

If I am planning on majoring in biochemistry or biomedical engineering (depending on the school I attend) what are my chances of receiving a Type 1 (Full Tuition) AFROTC scholarship? Who/what majors are they looking for currently? How do I go about making myself as competitive as possible?

Additional Info: brother will be attending college 2 years after me, but possibly at USAFA.

buuuuuuuuump. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I know this might be a little late (Since the deadline was today to turn in forms), you should realize and research what you are getting yourself into. If you’re doing it for the money, then reconsider this decision.

There is a four-year commitment after you complete your bachelor/master’s degree.

I’m in your same position, and I’ve applied to several Cali schools =D

Btw, there is no immediate commitment, as you may finalize your decision to commit to the AFROTC and USAF at the end of your freshman year in college. So go ahead and try it out if you’re really up for it.
