<p>And I have another question about buying from UCI’s online bookstore! Does anyone know the difference between the paperback and the looseleaf options? And which one do you think is better?</p>

<p>check your major requirements to see if you need to go past math 2A and 2B. Buy the full set if you do.
Paperback is like a regular paperback book with a soft cover. Looseleaf means only the hole punched pages of the book are included and you’ll need to buy a binder or something to keep them all in.</p>

<p>It depends. Bio majors need Math 2A-2B and either Math 2D, 2J, 7, or Stats 7 or 8. So it’s up to you if you want to continue with calc or take stats instead to fulfill the math requirement. Personally, I’ll be taking stats so I didn’t buy the full set.</p>
