I'm taking math 2b and there are 4 choices. The first two say calculus full and the last two are for single variable and for only 2A and 2B. Since I am going past 2b which one do I get? For the full calc packages is the only difference between the two is that one is an actual book and the other is an ebook?

if your taking 2d, and 2e get the full book.

Which is the 2nd option listed on this page?[Welcome to the UCI Bookstore](http://shop.book.uci.edu/ePOS#currentdept)

correct?

I think so, are you buying them online? if not you can always double check at the store by asking a clerk.

There are two options for each book size…

You can get the full book as a textbook or an E-book
You can get the “single variable only” book as a textbook or an E-book.

Since you are going past 2B, you want the the “FULL” book, now its just up to you to decide whether you want an E-book or a regular textbook.
Hope this clears things up!

Ok, lol, I’m taking 2B for my GE and that should be it with Calc for me. So, I should get the “single variable only book”?

Yeah since you’re only doing 2B, then just get the single varaible only book.

or just buy it and then sell it…

The E-book may be cheaper but do you really want to have to sit infront of your computer doing math homework? and it’s only about $15 less. And you can sell back your book. Can you even get any money back for an E-bok?

And buy the package UCI one. I looked into actually buying the Stewart one online but it’s close to $200 for the 2AB-2DE math and about $150 just for math 2A & B book.

The ebook is free if you know where to look. I’m not condoning such actions, however ;). But it is kinda convenient, since you won’t bring your book to class. Your book is at home/dorm.

If you want to stay at school and do your homework, they have course reserves in the library that u can borrow for 2-3 hours. but i think an ebook is more convenient since if you are doing your homework while chatting on AIM, you can switch through windows effortlessly without wasting desk space… just need a piece of paper and your laptop!

anyone know what edition they will be using this fall?
