first-generation, lower-middle class

Looking for a school that:

-Offers decent financial aid to transfers!
-Near new york since this is where I live

hmm I thought its just the fact they won't grant you more than 80 credits when transferring which is fine to be honest I really don't care if I lose the year I just realized that finance is the way to go for my career and want to get into a good finance program.

Yeah I recall seeing that once you have 90 credits at a lot of schools you couldn't transfer (3 years). Thus is you're a rising junior there's a problem, but if you just finished your sophomore year then you should be ok. I don't know...I guess it varies by school, but whatever places you do end up being interested in, you should check with them first.

The school I transferred into for instance would not consider applicants for transfer that had started their 3rd year of college, whether they were willing to relinquish credits or not.
