Help with essay!

I'm applying to Cornell ED, so I've been trying, if not failing, to write a COMMON APP essay.Yes, I must confess that i have not started on the supplements yet, but i will soon. I'm a awful writer, but after reading Harry Bauld's book, I tried my best to write an essay.

Any cornellians willing to critique my common app essay?
and to cornellians who got into ILR(primary choice), any advice for the ILR supplement essay?

pm it to me and I’ll give you some advise

I sent out the essays. Anyone else? please help.

i’m be happy to help but i’m applying this year too. But i did help a couple 2014ers with their essays though.

civomorth, i think it would be more beneficial for you to have a parent or teacher read and critique your essay instead of students on this board. you will get better feedback that way

i will. it’s just that school is almost starting and i really have no time during the school year, so i’m just frantically trying to get my essays done. But, thanks CUAmbassador11 for the advice and everyone else who offered to help.

just dont rush on your essays. everyone is busy. everyone has work to do. my senior year, i was in 3 intense AP classes and 5 other honors classes (i decided not to have a lunch period so i could take another class), a billion of clubs and after school activities, and on top of college essays, i had to get my architecture portfolios done for all of my schools (ED by october and all 9 for my RD schools by december 1). it may just mean that you would have to compromise a social life for a couple of weekends out of the year. if you want me to read your essay, PM it over.
