<p>i just received a letter from NMSC saying they have not received my sat scores. it says that they must receive an official report of my sat scores by january 5, 2011 to consider me for an award. </p>
<p>i haven't sent my scores in yet; i took the december 2010 and have requested that those scores be sent to nmsc directly. will they receive these in time? or should i rush my scores to them now?? or, will they get them in time if i don't rush them?</p>

<p>What was your best SAT score thus far? If it meets the cutoff I’d be inclined to send them in. If you don’t want to spend the extra money then you could email College Board and ask them will the scores arrive by that time. If there is any doubt, spend the money for the peace of mind…</p>
<p>according to NMCorps own rules, you are able to use your Dec scores, so that suggests that if you named NMCorp to receive your scores, they will get them on time.</p>
<p>However, if you have earlier SAT scores that are about 2000 or higher, send those now.</p>
<p>We just received the same letter today… read the last sentence of the first paragraph… “If you took the December 2010 test and requested that a report of your scores be sent to NMSC, you may disregard this memo.” You should be fine.</p>
