so in my original essay for UCs I talked about how my freshman year GPA was a 2.4 and it jumped to a 4.17 by the end of my junior year. I got a 4.33 the first semester of my senior year and I want to talk about the huge jump in my appeal but I already talked about it in my original essay. What else should I include in my appeal? What exactly are they looking for in the appeal im kind of confused about it. This is mainly the only "new and compelling info" that i have other than that i got the highest GPA on the varsity basketball team and i got a scholar athlete award. should I research their campus for the major that I applied as and talk about why I want to go to this school for the major?. please help haha

In the appealing process, you need to include something that you didn’t include in your original application. An recommendation will certainly help (only if it’s personal, don’t use vague recommendations). Appeal letter is usually one-page, single-spaced. School will combine the new info the from appeal letter with your original application to reconsider your qualification.
