NJTheatreMOM - Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. There are a couple of students here who got in for fall 2012 but didn’t have enough money to go and auditioned again and were told on the spot that they had gotten in. And some others that had either auditioned before and not gotten in or were auditioning for the first time that were also told by the auditors they had gotten in. But these people usually auditioned on the very last day. It’s not a big deal, I think. In one way or another, you kind of know when auditors are interested in you.

One more acceptance story. My son auditioned for an MT program last Friday. One of the auditors also conducted the aural skills test (after the audition piece) and told my son that he had an excellent audition and they knew he was applying to a lot of schools - from the CA I guess-, but to please consider their program. I told son not to take it seriously until he had the acceptance in writing because of stories I’ve read here, but the letter came today , with a scholarship.

entertainers mom…what a great thing to have happen! Congrats!

Congrats entertainersmom! Everyone on CC has been so helpful in the process that it makes me happy when “one of our own” has great things like this happen :)

Thanks all! An acceptance definitely made the world seem a bit brighter!
