Help

I plan to major in math or science and I'm planning to take MathII and bio. I want to apply to Georgetown & Harvard so I know I need to take a third. Do they like to see something in a different subject area (USH maybe?) or should I take AP physics next year and then take a third math/science subject test?*

Also, how much do AP Bio, AP Physics & APUSH correlate to their respective subject tests? Will I have to do a lot of extra studying or should I take them right after the AP exams next year?*

And lastly, if I take a test and score below what I want and then retake it, will I have to send a college both scores? And can I send one college two of the three scores only?*

Sorry for the long post and thanks!!

Well, Harvard no longer requires 3, so you can just send them your best 2. Georgetown, however, wants 3.

If you take a third test, don’t make it another math, as you will already have Math II. Another science would be fine, as would USH if you wanted. Take whichever you will be better at (or both, if you wish).

Harvard will use score choice, so you only have to send them whatever you want. If you have multiple scores for the same test, then just send the highest. Georgetown doesn’t use score choice for the SAT, though I’m not sure if that holds for the Subject Tests.

Physics B => Subject Test
Physics C does not help much with the subject test.
