I ended up failing calculus AB last semester due to extenuating circumstances (death in the family) and pretty much all of my grades were C's. Normally, I would have been a A/B student, but last semester was devastating.

Anyway, I wrote them a letter and included a death certificate and they sent me a postcard with a response similar to one of the previous posts about how a decision could not be made until your final transcript is received, etc etc.

I have all B's and A's (except a C in calculus) & I will pass calculus this semester...but I'm not sure if I can pass the AP exam. I'm going to be retaking the calc class at a community college during the summer...do you think they still have any reason to rescind my admission?

I seriously hope they don't. I really, really, do NOT want to end up at a community college. It would be horribly embarrassing.
