if i have a low score on the reading section(580) on the SAT but have a strong TOEFL(with high scores in each section including reading) and exceed the range at writing and math for a certain university, is it even worth applying? I was told that the first filter checks your SAT scores and if each section is not in the range that they require, they won;t consider your application. what should I do? I want to apply to soo many universities including a few big ones...
thanks!

Contact the international admissions office at each of the colleges/universities that you are looking at, and ask them about how they weigh TOEFL and SAT reading scores. Then you can apply to the ones where you are in range.

good luck!

thanks so much!!
does anyone know people who actually got in a good university that way?
