here is my situation. will i get rescinded? make me feel better!

so the second of three grade reports for this semester just came today and i am slightly worried while my parents are spazzy.
i have half As, half Bs, and 2 C's. The C's are in Biology and Chemistry. one is a C-. So far my weighted GPA for this semester is 3.7
however, i got in as an art major into the AAP college. and my grades weren't that hot to begin with. I had a cumulative weighted GPA of only barely 4.0 when I applied. soooo they wouldn't care about that enough to exterminate me would they? anyways, not like i'm an engineer or a biology girl or anything.
help me calm my parents down!

second, i hear its real easy to switch colleges within Cornell, but would it really be easy at all for an art major to ever switch to like, arts and sciences? does switching schools ever depend on what majors are involved..

thanks

we can tell you are a not a math major, j/k. If the biology and chemistry are both ap classes i think they will be able to understand, and also understand w/o putting you on academic probation. if they are in non ap classes they might put on on academic probation. However that is the worst they will do. They will not rescind your offer of admission, they do this to almost no one, and the people that get it either screwed up and got suspended for something bad, or completely failed. You should have no worries about getting your offer rescinded, and maybe a tiny worry about getting probabation.

However, with that said, i could be completely wrong, b/c i am not an expert.

just dont blow it...

...a friend of mine got her admission offer rescinded at UMich because she failed an art class. Keep those grades up!

I don't think you need to worry...they only see final average anyways, but even if they did see two C's, I don't think they would do anything about it

dont worry you'll be fine just don't get a D or fail or straight Cs
