<p>Hi,
My daughter (accepted ED) received an email that the admissions office had chosen her as one of a "select few" that they referred to the HY scholarship and she was given a link to the application. I noticed on the HY website that the application deadline passed on November 15, but they gave her until Jan. 9 to submit.</p>

<p>I am simply curious about the number of students that are referred vs. those who were nominated by their school. She attends a small private school which has never had a ND applicant so her counselor can't give her much information. Any information out there for a "curious mom"?</p>

I was referred the same way and am actually wondering the same thing. I have no idea what kind of benefit referral from the admissions office has and am very curious about that.

Were you both also invited to the Reilly weekend?
