im currently at the community college of baltimore county of essex. to be honest i entered Essex out of default. i made a big mistake not applying to college even with good grades and rigous courses. However, i did apply for spring and a lot of them accepeted me after seeing my grades. well my grades are good A's and pretty sure that i will be admitted to most of them UMBC, Loyala, Maryland College Park, Temple but after staying here for a while i started to reconsider. im getting good grades, and Essex offers an honors program that if u complete a certain amount of honors classes with a 3.5 gpa or higher you are given full admissions to any college in maryland. primary my intrest, Hopkins. Now this is the quandery, complete more courses here finish 15 c of honors clases then transfer to hopkins depeding hopefully on good grades, or transfer to any of those schools. is it worth the risk? i mean when i came here i thought o *&^& im with the dumb !@#$s of my high school, but after a while its really nice. i enjoy it here, but how long can i ride the community college ticket? i dunno what do u guys think, i mean my credits transfer and all, also maken my classes ALOT CHEAPER for the same course material. also smaller classes here.

If it's just 15 credits and only one more semester (right?), then you might consider staying if you know two things:

The CC has an agreement with Hopkins (just to be sure).

Believe you can keep the 3.5 or above.

Best of luck :)
