I know this seems odd that I'm doing this for her. She's a bit apprehensive about going through this transfer process.A smart girl, she never lived up to her potential in high school. 2.79hs gpa. 1500 hs sat(not sure what it is out of 2300)-hunter college.

She should wait another year to transfer.

NYU most likely won’t give her enough money to attend.

I did the exact thing she wants to do, Orson. CUNY to NYU Communications.

I think she should wait. I had a weaker college GPA but more college ECs and much better HS stats.

wait, is that 1500 SAT out of 1600? that might bolster her a bit. I transferred as a third semester student, and there were a ton of CUNY students who transferred at the same time.

And yeah, NYU’s transfer student financial aid SUCKS.

Yeah it’s 1500/1600. 2280/2400 to be exact. Her first 2 choices are vandy and unc. Both are terrific when it comes to fa.

It seems pretty good. Their campus is gorgeous and their film school is top-notch.
