hey

You know how schools usually give the mid range SAT scores for admissions?
Like the majority of admits for University 'A' had SATs in the blah-blahblah range?

If my scores are right in with these, considering my other stats are average
how good are the chances?

Or if I am above?

take in mind the other stats are around average.

I am thinking about mostly the uc schools

I apologize for horrible grammer. I am sick and not thinking clearly..

Keep in mind that most schools list the admit statistics, not the attending stats. As a result, the numbers you are seeing are most likely slightly higher than those of the actual student body. Typically, if you fit into the 50% range, it means you are academically admissible, but nothing is ever certain.....

Take a look at all the threads on this forum and do a little digging (I mean VERY little digging) - you'll find your answers quickly.

Because those figures include legacy, URM, and recruited athlete admits (which drag the average down), you'll want to be in the top quarter of the scores listed. This isn't to say that you couldn't be admitted with scores in the middle or bottom range, just that it isn't an accurate representation of the "unhooked" students they admit.
